Chris made a more pared-down version of this stone as part of his ‘Rock of Ages’ triptych, currently sited at The Garden of the Wind sculpture park in Hereford.   

‘I greatly admire the work of letter-cutter and carver Michael Renton, and this was his favourite hymn. This natural, rough-hewn slate is in memory of him, and also of my brother, Paul.’
