“From the much loved song, Rainbow Connection, written by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher for The Muppet Movie (1979), this inscription explores something deeply human: our fascination with the unknown, our capacity for wonder, and our instinct to look beyond the everyday.
The words invite us to broaden our horizons and imagine what might lie ahead. They evoke the quiet magic of looking into the night sky, where curiosity, imagination and hope meet.
Uncial style of lettering was chosen for it’s sense of innocence and reflection the childlike wonder that connects us all and celebrates the limitless possibilities of the imagination. “
Original Artwork Produced for the Letters Unlimited Exhibition, 2026; where each artist was invited to select a piece of stone from a Portland quarry to create a work that will showcase the possibilities of letter carving.
This piece was created alongside Journeymen, Apprentices and Master Carvers that the LAT support. Maya Czajkowski is a former Journeyman at LAT.
