Box of ten postcards with 'Fanfare' design

A beautiful box of ten postcards with craft envelopes.

Berthold Wolpe was persuaded to design a series of type ornaments by Ernest Ingham, the founder of the Fanfare press. A selection of these was cut in 1936 and matrices were struck from which a supply of printers’ ornaments was cast.

The cards were designed by Prof. Phil Cleaver, the curator of our exhibition about Berthold Wolpe, ‘The Total Man.’
