Welsh slate

Sundials make very fitting memorials, as they mark the inevitable passage of time, and life, birth, death and re-birth. I’m interested in the challenge of writing for a specific place and purpose, so I wrote the text for this project and this piece of slate. I have also developed a technique for shaping the background of white spaces, to add depth and dimension.’
