New LGBTQ+ Memorial at The National Arboretum

Many congratulations to Charlotte Howarth and Nina Bilbey of the Abraxas Academy, and Sue Aperghis, former LAT Journeyman, whose design has been selected to be the UKs first national memorial for Veterans who lost their lives, careers and were imprisoned for being gay.  This prestigious commission will be unveiled at the National Memorial Arboretum, Stafford, on 27th October.  The Arboretum is open to the public and well worth a visit.

The BBC have made a documentary about the making process, and we expect there will be a lot in the news about this important commission.
