Lisi Ashbridge will be teaching a new 2-year part-time ‘Foundation Diploma’ course in letter carving and design at West Dean College, West Sussex. There will be six three-day sessions in the college’s stone carving studio, supplemented by self-directed study, one-to-one tutorials and a final 1500-word essay. The course is aimed at carvers who already have some experience of working with stone and are looking to commit to an extended programme of study and develop confidence within their own personal approach and aspirations.

COURSE TUTOR
Lisi Ashbridge a letter designer and carver with a background in visual Neuroscience. She is an elected member of the Lettering Arts Trust, The Master Carvers’ Association and a QEST scholar. She also teaches at Highgrove Craft’s Centre and on the King’s Foundation courses.
