Andrew Baxter

I am based in the South East of England and accept commissions for memorials around the UK.

Initially trained in graphic design, after a 2-year period of assisting and learning the craft of letter carving with Tom Perkins, I studied Postgraduate Architectural Stone Carving at City & Guilds of London Art School, and am included on The Craft Council's Index of Registered Makers.

I was drawn to carving in stone by a sole intention to carve memorials by hand, and a hope to create memorials that capture something of the essence of those we have loved and lost. I am currently only accepting commissions for small pieces.
