'Growing Old Disgracefully' premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to great acclaim. It is written and performed by Virginia Ironside, a patron of the Lettering Arts Trust, and directed by Nigel Planer. Join us to watch Virginia as she takes to the stage to explain that unlimited free drugs, fun funerals, grandchildren and sex - or, even better, no sex -make life after sixty the best - and funniest - time of your life. The Independent reviews it as: "A life-affirming ramble through the joys of being a sexagenarian - the bus passes, the bird-watching, the glamorous dressing gowns. This is a witty show for all ages, providing an oasis of grown-up calm and wisdom …" Tickets cost £20 and include a glass of wine.
