Maia is currently in the second year of her LAT apprenticeship. She says:

‘The third piece I completed as part of my LCAT apprenticeship with Charlotte Howarth, an exercise in lowercase letterforms. The sentence is riddle 69 from the Exeter book, the eleventh-century book of poems and riddles. The answer is gilded in palladium. ‘
